Welcome to The Nest
Welcome Back!
One week down and just a few more to go... We are busy building our classroom community, getting to know each other and how we "do school" at Pleasant Hill Elementary.
I am so excited about this year. We will be working very hard, but I am firm believer in teaching each other.
Here at The Nest, you will see our class in action. As many of you know we have a 2:1 iPad ratio this year. We will be working hard to integrate technology into our learning so that we can go deeper. Through the use of iPads students will be able to develop presentations and projects to demonstrate their learning. This blog will sometimes serve as a jumping off point for our learning and you may even see your child posting, interacting with other students, or sharing comments on something they've learned.
I am looking forward to the year ahead.
