Character Trait Popplet

Our skill this week has been "I can identify a character's traits and support them with details from the text." To do this we have been using our "author and me" thinking. This means we have to think about how the character has been behaving and choose a word to describe this behavior. This is the "me thinking" and the word becomes our character trait. Examples of character traits can include: scared, sneaky, nervous, dramatic, adventurous, etc. The next step is support our thinking or prove our thinking with evidence from the text. The author leaves us clues in the text to help us figure out the character trait. This is the "author thinking". Below you excellent examples of this thinking using the Popplet Lite app.
